Waiting for wheels

After another lovely breakfast at Pakuba Lodge it was time to travel back to Entebbe. Still time whilst driving through the game park to see a few more animals including elephants, giraffe, warthogs and baboons. I was trying to see if I could find the baboon who tried to steal my water bottle yesterday!!

Another quick stop to take photos of Collobus monkeys in some trees (well spotted by Janet). We had a little detour to go to the top of the beautiful Murchinson Falls seeing a double rainbow and getting a bit wet in the mist.

With the help of prayer we made it to a petrol station in Masindi to fill up as we were almost out of fuel. Our drive back to Entebbe then suddenly stopped when one of the wheels came off and we quickly safely stopped.

We got a ride in a Matatu (minibus taxi) to the place where we were planning to have lunch with wasn't far. Waiting for another vehicle to come to take us to Entebbe. The place where we are waiting is a petrol station with a good restaurant and joy toilets and even WiFi!! Keep watching this space to see if we actually make it to Entebbe!!

WAITING FOR WHEELS - Part 2

We were collected by one of the other drivers and continued our journey to Entebbe without further incident, arriving about 8pm. We are now waiting for our evening meals.

Thanks be to God for his protection during our travels today and for your prayers.
