A bit of the background
The Bristol Uganda Link was started in 1969 through the friendship between Bishop Oliver Tomkins and Archbishop Erica Sabiti. It has always been about mutual learning and encouragement. In a world in which nationalism and populism are rising forces the need for friendships that reach across borders and remind us that we cannot stand alone are as vital as ever.
