We visited Bishop Balya College which the link has strong connections with, Its location give amazing views of the Mountains of the Moon which separate Uganda from DRC.

We hosted a dinner their for past and current sponsored clergy and lay readers. A moving time of testimony and thanks. James was particularly moved to meet Fred and his wife Hope who has been very sick and has been helped greatly by friends in the deanery.

Thank you to the Principal, Rev Michael Kitooke for doing all the organising and hosting.

Outside the guest block built (at least partially) by a group from Stoke Gifford in about 2005.

Bishop Reuben had then arranged for us a programme to visit on of the top private schools in the region (the top for cricket!) and a teacher training college.

Finally, a special treat for James : the whole team took a rather slippery 15 km drive to visit Rev Clovis Kyalimpa's lovely home in the hills to meet with Mama Briton.

Clovis and Briton are hosting Claire and Rebecca.

Photo of the Kingswood and South Glos team with the students who have been trained at Bishop Balya over the past years. We heard four testimonies from different students who had benefited from our sponsorship. The stories of hardship and the faithfulness of God experienced through our generosity moved us deeply.
